Short description
Replica of a Noric-Pannonian fibula of type Almgren 237 C, a so-called double button brooch from the 1st century. Bronze or silver plated. 9 x 2.5 x 2 cm.
Productdetails...
Celtic Certosa brooch replica from the Latène period.

Here you can buy an authentic replica of a Celtic Certosa brooch, based on a find from Dürrberg / Hallein in Austria.

The fibula replica was made true to detail after a Certosa fibula found in grave 44 at the Moserstein near Dürrnberg in Hallein, where a large number of artefacts from the Latène period were found.

This Certosa brooch replica is decorated with typical circular eye and angle ornaments, as is often found on Celtic brooches of this type.

The Certosa brooch measures xxx cm.

Due to its size, this certosa brooch is ideal for fastening a heavy cloak made of sturdy fabric on the shoulder.

You can buy the Certosa brooch in high-quality bronze or genuine silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (Please note the delivery time).
Alloy...

The Certosa brooch developed in the 6th to 5th century BC during the transition from the Hallstatt period to the Latène period and is a direct successor to the so-called Peschiera brooch. This type of fibula was widespread from Italy, across the south-eastern Alps to the Balkans and was mostly made of bronze, sometimes also of precious metals or iron.

In Gallic territory, the so-called Latène brooches developed from the Italian Certosa brooch in the 5th century BC and spread to northern Germany and Scandinavia in the second half of the Latenian period.
