These spherical jingle bells in the style of the Middle Ages are made of sheet iron and are available either in antique, brass-plated or nickel-plated.These jingle bells made of sheet metal differ from jingles made of solid cast brass in that they have a more delicate sound.
In the course of time, the jingle bellss generally take on a duller colour and can possibly become slightly rusty when exposed to moisture. If you want to prevent this, you should rub the jingles with oil from time to time. Especially in medieval garb, however, a rustic appearance is usually desired.
